Clinical Assistant at Evoke Therapy Intensives
Jordan is passionate about life, his own healing journey, and brings a calming presence to those around him. Growing up in the Bay Area, Jordan learned to see, relate with, and respect cultural differences. Jordan’s background as a professional artist, wellness coach, and psychologist candidate continue to be a source of inspiration for his work as Clinical Assistant and Coach at Evoke.
Education & Prior Work Experience
Jordan is currently pursuing a doctoral degree in Clinical and Depth Psychology at Pacifica Graduate Institute. As a certified personal wellness coach, Jordan is deeply committed to helping individuals towards clarity, purpose, and lasting lifestyle changes. Additionally, Jordan has completed UCLA’s Mindful Awareness Practices programs’ course (MAPs) and multiple Vipassana Meditation Retreats, sharpening his ability to help individuals imagine and move towards their life goals through compassionate mindfulness and design-thinking. He began working for Evoke’s Intensives in the summer of 2019 and is currently working with clients as an Evoke coach.
Strengths
Jordan has a creative background and has spent years developing as a music artist. His musical journey has been enriched by an interest in soul-expression and how we give voice to our deepest needs and sense of self. Jordan has a long history of personal and professional engagement with religious trauma, spiritual development, and mental health recovery. He embodies curiosity and compassion in his life and his therapeutic work.
Interests
Jordan enjoys playing musical instruments, teaching psychology, reading, writing, spending time barefoot outdoors, traveling, friendship, and social gatherings.
